Craftsman Hill Fibers, owned by Deborah Yorde, was started in 1999 in a little shop on north Main Street in Mount Vernon, Ohio. Over the years, it grew and changed. The store and weaving studio are now located out in the country, just a short drive north of Mount Vernon.  

Our goal is to provide helpful advice, good quality materials, and to encourage you to create wonderful hand-made things. Our quiet country environment is perfect for contemplating your next project, getting the help you need or just taking time to visit. Bring your friends, sit, knit and have a cup of tea.

We offer a variety of classes throughout the year as well as several retreat weekends.
