Winter Retreat

Friday night:
If you are staying at Harmony Hill overnight, please check in between 4 – 6 pm. A dinner of soup, bread, dessert and beverages will be served at 6 pm. The activity for Friday night is a “knit-in”, show and tell and sharing favorite knitting stories. So bring your best knitting story, be it triumph, or disaster and how you solved it. We will vote on the best knitting tale and a prize will be awarded.

Day knitters have the option of adding the Friday night dinner to their package.

Saturday:
We start with a continental breakfast 8:30 am. Workshop will begin at 9:30.

Workshop

WHAT TO DO WITH YOUR STASH

We all have one. Some collections are small or at least reasonably sized and then they go all the way to out-of-control. So what do we do? This workshop is designed to help you organize, store, and use your stash. Together, we will spark your creativity with talk of technique, color, patterns and some surprise topics. The goal is to de-stash and get rid of the guilt!

Bring an assortment of needles, accessory pack and a small variety of yarns from your stash to use or to swap.

Lunch will be provided at noon and the workshop will continue through the afternoon until 4pm.

Refreshments of snacks, water, soda etc will be furnished throughout the day.

Door prizes will be awarded after lunch.

Overnight package is $135 and the day knitter package is $60 for Saturday, with Friday night optional at $10 additional.
